Every year, Cans For Kids awards a symbolic prize of 100 euros and a trophy to the “Volunteer of the Year” – the volunteer who has clocked up more hours helping the charity than any other. For the second year in a row the winner for 2012 is Svetlana Kozyritskaya, who received her award from Cans For Kids President Olga Demetriades at a ceremony in Nicosia.

The winner, with two other regular Cans For Kids volunteers, Louie John Kovacevic (left) and Sacha Peter Kovacevic
