Ross Mullan, aka the White Walker from the Game of Thrones, visited our stand at Comic Con to open the envelope with the answer to our ‘guess the weight of the cube of cans’ competition. The winner of the signed photograph of ‘the Mountain’ (also Game of Thrones, who picked our winner two years ago) was Naomi Blayney – congratulations! Our small army of volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the weekend going through the rubbish bins and rescuing discarded cans for recycling: a total of 28 bin bags were collected. We also spent a lot of time talking to visitors about recycling, and were pleased to see many of them returning to deposit their empty cans in our dedicated recycling bin.
