How we use cookies and similar technologies

Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site work properly and remember your preferences. This page explains which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.

The cookies we use

Our website currently uses only strictly necessary cookies, plus one preference choice stored in your browser:

  • laravel_session — keeps your browsing session secure and working. Strictly necessary. Stored until you close your browser.
  • XSRF-TOKEN — protects the site's forms from cross-site request forgery, a security measure. Strictly necessary. Stored until you close your browser.
  • cfk-consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined optional content such as videos. Stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) until you clear it.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-party content

YouTube videos — videos on our website are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set cookies until you play a video. We only load a video after you choose to play it. If you play it, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and process data according to Google's privacy policy.

OpenStreetMap — our Can Bank Locator uses an OpenStreetMap embed to show the map. No personal data is sent, and we receive no data from it. OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy applies to their service.

Google Maps — the locator includes links to Google Maps. Clicking a link takes you to Google's website, where Google's own privacy and cookie policies apply.

Your choices

When you first visit the site you will see a short notice about cookies. You can accept or decline optional content, such as playing YouTube videos. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's storage, and you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Future changes

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies — for example, to understand how visitors use the site — we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
